Eric (who has been nick-named "Rico" by his Uncle Jeff), had his 5th birthday! This is the first year he's really understood about counting down the days, and what was actually going to happen. ie... presents! Our little guy is crazy into Angry Birds and Lightening McQueen, so you may notice the majority of his presents have to do with those 2 things :)
Steve and I flew in from Hawaii the morning of his birthday, and then stopped on our way home and picked up a cake for him. (I know, poor kid had a store-bought cake for his birthday.) The important thing is, it had Angry Birds on it, so he was delighted!
All of his presents were wrapped and stashed before we left on our trip, so please don't mind that there are no bows on his presents. Somehow Eric didn't mind.
He gets his wish!
Pretty cute 5 year old if you ask me! (Complete with his tattoo and everything.) He is ready to go eat dinner at his favorite place, Cafe Rio.
Eric's favorite meal: black beans , tortillas, and the raspberry limeade. (He must have a little Mexican blood in him or something.) Also, he loves to sit in a green chair. Lucky for him, they have green chairs.
