It's All Good: Our White Trash Hobby

The first step is

just admitting you have a problem, right?

Well, it's probably time to admit that we have a little white-trash hobby that we love. It's called: Motocross. We love to ride our own dirt bikes all decked out in gear, and we love to watch the pros do it too. A few years ago, most of the girls in my family realized that if we didn't get our own motorcycles, we were just going to keep getting left behind. So...... men, women, and children, young or old, we all love the motocross in our family.

We used to go to Vegas once a year and catch a professional race there. But the past few years the pro SuperCross tour has had a race in Salt Lake City. So, thank you to Scott who always gets it arranged so our seats are all together! It has made for a fun (even if it is redneck) family Spring tradition.

The boys like to go early, I mean HOURS before the races begin, and catch the race-day action for as long as they can. Me? No thanks.

This would be a shot of "the pits," on the day of the race, several hours before the races begin. This is where the pros all have tents set up by their sponsors. The boys like to go and get a glimpse of the riders up close, and hopefully get some autographs.

Here is a big "thanks" to Marky, who got all of these great photos before the races and in the pits, etc. And here is Mark with Ryan Villopoto's bike - he's the champ this year. But you probably knew that. :)
